Shreveport Force Cross Country is organized under the Shreveport Home School Sports organization and board, being subject to their rules and regulations. Please read over the policies. You can find them at www.shreveportforce.com/policies.
Cross Country typically involves a race of a 5k (3.1 mile) distance for boys and either a 5k or 2-mile distance for girls. They will run over varying terrains including grass, dirt, and occasionally pavement.
The Force Cross Country team will competes in Louisiana and east Texas.
*Ages: Shreveport Force Cross Country is for homeschooled students currently in 6th-12th grades.

Pre-Season Conditioning:
Starting June 29-
Tuesdays, 7 pm, at Brookshire Grocery Arena “BGA”. Meet by the stairs.
Open to all FORCE athletes and anyone interested in running Cross Country. No fee.
XC Summer Practice Schedule:
Beginning Saturday, July 31st-
Saturdays, 8:00-9:30am &
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00-8:30pm
Location: Walker Place Park (the little park by BGA)
Fall Practice Schedule beginning early September:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30-6:00pm at Walker Place Park
(Practices may occasionally meet at the Wildlife Refuge)
Meet schedule TBA
Meets typically kick off early September and will be most Saturday mornings through the end of October.
There are occasionally meets on weekdays. Most meets will be in East Texas. We may also do a couple of local road races.
Registration Fee:
$175 for the first athlete in a family, $150 for additional athletes in the same family
Ages/Grades:
Force Cross Country is open to area homeschooled students in 6th-12th grades.
(6-8 grades will compete in middle school division; 9-12 grades will compete in JV or Varsity divisions.)
