This year’s race benefits Shreveport Force Track & Field, helping provide the equipment, resources, and coaching support our student-athletes need to train, compete, and succeed.

More Than Just a Race
The Run with the Force 5K is about much more than crossing a finish line.
It’s about building opportunities for young athletes, connecting families, supporting youth sports, and strengthening our community.
Shreveport Homeschool Sports, also known as the Shreveport FORCE, has provided competitive athletic opportunities for homeschooled students in Northwest Louisiana since 2012.
Our mission is to partner with families in developing young men and women through athletics, emphasizing character, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and faith.
Our athletes compete at regional, state, and national levels, representing Northwest Louisiana in sports including basketball, volleyball, cross country, and track and field.
Through the Run with the Force 5K, we hope not only to raise needed funds but also to introduce more families, businesses, and community members to the opportunities available through Shreveport Homeschool Sports.

Why We’re Running: Supporting Force Track & Field
For 2027, proceeds from the Run with the Force 5K will directly benefit Shreveport Force Track & Field.
Our track and field program provides middle and high school homeschool athletes the opportunity to develop their abilities and compete against outstanding athletes from across Louisiana, Texas, and the nation.
Our athletes work hard, and they have achieved success at both the state and national levels. As our program grows, so does our need for quality equipment, facilities, and support.
